Outdoors on land and water
The grounds of Kaidan Kiho with own shoreline and jetty enable water-related outdoor activities of many kinds in the summer and winter alike.
The sturdy jetty is an excellent sunbathing spot for sun lovers, while others can enjoy themselves sipping refreshments under the sun shade. The closest refrigerator is luckily only few steps away in the barbecue hut! You can go swimming from the jetty, and in the shallow water children can play as much as they like.
A fish trap and the free use of a wooden rowing-boat is included in the rent of the villa, and those who prefer canoeing can rent a double kayak (link to the price list). Thanks to the shallow water, coming ashore is easy also for the inexperienced canoers. Those who enjoy faster speed can rent an outboard motor (link to the price list).
The surrounding nature is virtually untouched, and, depending on the season, you can pick lilies of the valley, bilberries, lingonberries and a variety of mushrooms. And why not enjoy the Finnish everyman's right and make a longer excursion in the forest!
Playground for children is located close to the barbecue hut, and you can find toys and games for the smaller as well as for the bigger holiday makers in the wooden box.
When necessary, you can park your car in the car shelter made of logs. The recycling point for garbage is also in the shelter. Two outdoor sockets guarantee smooth start-up also during the fiercest of frost.
