Kaidan Kiho is a peacefully located personal hideaway on the shore of Lake Kaitajärvi, rich in fish, and only four kilometres from the services of the town of Ristiina. The luxurious log villa is a perfect holiday spot for up to three families, or suitable place for holding small meetings or parties. At Kaidan Kiho you can combine working with memorable free time!

Over the years, Esko and Leena Valkonen have designed and built Kaidan Kiho and made it into a personal and unique holiday oasis where up to 12 people can enjoy natural peace with modern technology. In addition to the villa, Kaidan Kiho comprises a smoke sauna and a separate traditional sleeping cabin, barbecue hut with the atmosphere of an old hunting lodge, own shoreline with a jetty and a wooden boat, as well as a car shelter. During the winter time, a hole is dug for you in the ice for winter swimming.

Kaitajärvi provides excellent conditions for fishing and other water sports. Free use of a rowing boat is included in the rent. Furthermore, an outboard motor, a kayak for two persons, and a surfing board are available for rent (see the price list here). Only a few kilometres from Kaidan Kiho is Lake Saimaa, where you can go fishing, cruising or just admiring the landscape.
Forests, rich with mushrooms and berries, various sporting grounds and cultural events, as well as sightseeing in the neighbouring areas are easily accessible from Kaidan Kiho. Your host and hostess will be pleased to assist you in finding free-time activities or a nice restaurant. Kaidan Kiho is the only villa rented by its owners, who live nearby, so you are guaranteed to have personal and fast service. At Kaidan Kiho, every customer is a VIP!
